Kindergarten Registration Information
Any child who will be five years old by August 31, 2012 is eligible to enter Kindergarten.
An overview of the H. Olive Day School's kindergarten programs, (including tuition information), is available by clicking here.
Half-day and full-day programs are available.
A copy of the birth certificate and current immunization from your child’s doctor will be required before the start of school.
Registration
This year we are happy to offer two options for registering your child for kindergarten for the 2012 - 2013 school year:
Online or Walk-in registration.
Currently enrolled H. Olive Day School Pre-K students who will be eligible for kindergarten must register.
If necessary, a Full Day Kindergarten Lottery will be held on April 2, 2012.

February 6, 2012, 9:15 - 11:30 AM: Walk-in Registration, HOD Auditorium (Door 13)
March 20, 2012, 7:00 PM: Kindergarten Information Meeting for Parents, HOD Library
April 2, 2012, 9:15 AM: Full Day Kindergarten Lottery, if necessary, HOD Auditorium (Door 13)

June 11 -13, 2012 (tentative): Kindergarten Screening, HOD School
On-line Kindergarten Registration
January 16 - February 5, 2012
We are pleased to announce that the Norfolk Public Schools is offering On-Line Kindergarten Registration.

Parents will also need to choose an available date and time for Kindergarten Screening, which will take place June 11-13, 2012.
Please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate and current physical/immunization record to screening.
Walk-in Kindergarten Registration
Monday, February 6th, 9:15 A.M. to 11:30
HOD Auditorium, Door 13.
(Please drive around to the back of the building and enter through Door 13)
In the event of a “snow day” registration will be held on Monday, February 13th
It is not necessary to bring your child to registration.
Please be sure to bring your child’s birth certificate.
Late Registration
After February 6, 2012
If for any reason you cannot be present on February 6th or you are unable to access the on-line registration, please contact the school at: (541-5475 Ext. 0) to make other arrangements for registration.
